Bachelor’s degree and six years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years.Ability to adhere to ethical practices and promote ethical behavior.

The Research Compliance Officer reports to the Vice President for Research and works collaboratively with the faculty, staff, and chairs of regulatory committees and the directors/heads of other University units responsible for research compliance.  The Research Compliance Officer provides coordination for the administration, support, monitoring, and oversight of a range of research compliance functions.
The position shall be responsible for:  the development, oversight and monitoring of a research compliance program for the University encompassing issues related to the financial, ethical, and legal aspects of research; identifying areas of compliance vulnerability; monitoring changes in existing compliance requirements and responding to new compliance mandates; and developing, delivering, and tracking educational and training programs related to research compliance.  The position shall serve as the Institutional Official in administering FSU’s financial conflict of interest policy.

This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
