he Athletic Department invites applications to fill a full time Director of Football Quality Control. This position is directly responsible for assisting the football staff with their practice and game preparation, as is permissible under NCAA rules and regulations. Additionally, this position is responsible for supporting the football on-campus recruiting process and the daily operations of the football program at the University of Colorado. The position interacts daily with University constituents and Athletic Department coaches and staff. Working in a team-oriented environment, the position has a broad range of responsibilities that are essential to the financial success and internal efficiency of the Athletic Department. Furthermore, this position will integrate the Athletic Department’s Guiding Principles into the daily operational practices.

Job Responsibilities:
Work jointly with the Graduate Assistants to cut-up and input video data using a video film editing program developed by XOS.

Create diagrams and tip sheets as requested and directed by the Coordinators for game preparation using digital video systems.

Cut-up and edit opponent video tape as requested and directed by the Coordinators. Prepare and present cut-ups and edits in a manner so that they can be presented to the coaching staff in a meeting for game analysis and scouting report.

At the direction of the Coordinators, the position will create the team’s playbooks.

At the direction of the Coordinators the position will cut-up and manipulate end-of-season data to create videos and reports of self-tendencies, which will be utilized by the Coordinators and/or coaching staff members.

Work jointly with the Graduate Assistants to produce the game-plan documents and Spring and Fall Install booklets as directed by the Coordinators.

The Director of Football Quality Control is expected to understand and adhere to NCAA and Pac 12 rules and regulations, complete the required compliance office documentation and satisfactorily complete the annual NCAA Coaches Certification Exam.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications)
– Bachelor’s degree
– Three years of collegiate or professional coaching or playing experience and knowledge in football offensive formations and plays, and defensive alignments, fronts blitz packages and secondary coverage’s, and technical experience in digital video technology and football video editing
– Software proficiency in MS Word and Excel
Desired qualifications
– Master’s Degree
– Proficient in CyberSports recruiting software
– Proficient in XOS Technology Video Film Editing
– NFL Experience
