Kennesaw State University is seeking a Director of Football Operations.
Duties include Control and Monitoring of the Football Budget, during the fiscal year. Items of Note in control and monitoring of budget: Submitting expense reports for reimbursements from anything that has to do with recruiting to vehicle maintenance and other business related issues. Preparing the budget projections for the upcoming fiscal year, as well as managing the current fiscal year budget.
Control of Sidelines, Sideline Passes, Coaches Sideline passes, Coaches Booth passes. Correspondence with opponents regarding arrivals, walk-thru’s, hotels, pre-game operations. High School Coaches complimentary tickets, and unofficial visits of High School Players. Send out all game information to visiting teams and to teams we are visiting.
Maintain contact with Compliance and keep current records as to our scholarship numbers. Maintain files, and keep Compliance informed of all changes. Keep players aware of game ticket information and how to go about getting their tickets assigned.
Correspond with Admissions administration and Student Athlete Success Services (SASS) making sure all of our athletes have all needed information for admission and the registration of classes. Send out emails to all players, notifying them of any problem with admissions and/or SASS that need immediate attention. Make sure that all players are certified with NCAA Clearinghouse.
Organize all items needed to conduct an excellent camp experience.
Work with the Recruiting Coordinator on all issues pertaining to the Junior Day visits. Primary items that need to be arranged are: the meal, tour groups, transportation, and meeting spaces.
Making sure all NLI information is properly sent to all recruits that have committed to our program. Make sure that the correct information has been returned and in proper order from our signing class.
Work with Compliance and Housing in regards to room assignments for each semester. Make sure all discipline problems are taken care of from housing.
Maintain and keep accurate records of player participation for Compliance.
Work with facility supervisors in maintaining our practice fields, stadium facilities, weight room, dressing facilities, and any other facility that comes under the jurisdiction of Football.
Set up and organize all logistics pertaining to team travel. Hotels, meals, flights, buses and escorts. Must be organized for each home and away games. Organize and distribute hotel rooming rosters, travel rosters for compliance, and anything else pertaining to football travel trips.
Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
