Department of Athletics, Administration
A Master’s degree in a relevant area and four years relevant experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area and six years relevant experience.  A minimum of five years experience in Athletics financial management, accounting, and fiscal administration at a NCAA Division I athletic program.  Experience with contract administration. Ability to work independently and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with concepts, principles, and practices of accounting, budgeting and preparation of financial reports.  Ability to identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.  Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).   Ability to compile, review, and edit financial information for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.  Knowledge of principles and practices of fiscal control system.  Knowledge of electronic data processing as it applies to fiscal and accounting activities.  Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations. Ability to apply the principles and practices of strategic planning, development, and evaluation.  Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.  Ability to interpret and apply related University policies, procedures, principles, and practices.
Background Check Requirements
This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check.
Confidentiality Policy
This position requires compliance with University confidentiality policies.
Oversees and supervises facilities management, ticket operation, business operation, information technology, and staffing activities.
Responsible for interpreting and ensuring all fiscal and administrative policies are met.  Develops and provides general direction as its relates to policies, programs and procedures to ensure appropriate compliance with university, state, federal, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Participates as a member of the executive team within Athletics and provides fiscal and tax guidelines as needed. Also provides staff support to the Athletic Board as needed.  Provides contract administration for revenue and expenditure contracts.
Works with the Seminole Boosters financial staff on financial and budgeting matters.
Pay Plan
This is an A&P (Administrative and Professional) position.
